How do I remove the Gemini watermark?

Choose an original Gemini image or supported video. Unmark detects the visible sparkle and cleans it in your browser. Review the result, then download it.

Is watermark cleanup free?

Yes. Image, batch image, and supported video watermark cleanup are free, with no account or credits required.

What are the limits?

Images: up to 10 PNG, JPG, or WebP files, each up to 20 MB and 16 megapixels. Videos: one clip up to 30 seconds and 100 MB. Video codec support depends on your browser; desktop Chrome or Edge is recommended.

Are my files uploaded?

Watermark cleanup processes files on your device. Download results before closing or refreshing the page. Cleanup results are not automatically saved to Library.

Does this work with Veo and Google Flow?

It supports the fixed Gemini sparkle on supported original exports. Text logos, moving marks, and other watermark styles are not supported by browser video cleanup.

Does the download keep the original resolution?

Images and supported videos keep the source resolution. Video is re-encoded, so it is not lossless. Supported audio is preserved; export stops if a track cannot be retained.

Why is the video preview smaller?

A separate lower-resolution preview saves resources. The downloadable MP4 is processed from the original file at source resolution.

Does Unmark remove SynthID?

No. Unmark targets the visible Gemini sparkle, not invisible SynthID signals.

What if cleanup does not work?

Try the original Gemini export rather than a screenshot, cropped copy, or recompressed file. Review every result: some exports can retain visible traces. There is no automatic upload fallback.
